EV Charging Service Update and Installation Schedule
Dear Members,

At Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club, we are committed to maintaining facilities that meet the evolving needs of our community. As electric vehicles become increasingly popular, it is important that our charging services remain fair, reliable, and sustainable for all members.

Infrastructure Upgrade & Technical Support
We are pleased to announce that 12 parking spaces will undergo an upgrade in partnership with a new service operator. Supported by a dedicated repair and maintenance framework and professional technical expertise, this upgrade aims to further enhance the stability and reliability of our EV charging services.

Consumption-Based Charging Arrangement
In line with prevailing market best practices, the above parking spaces will adopt a consumption-based charging model, whereby members will be charged according to the actual electricity consumption of their vehicles. Further details of the tariff structure will be announced in due course.

Installation Schedule & Temporary Arrangements
To facilitate the above enhancements, installation works will be carried out as follows:

  • Work Period: 12 to 22 May 2026
  • Affected Parking Spaces: No. 82 - 93 (inclusive), totalling 12 spaces
  • Expected Reopening: 23 May 2026

During this period, EV charging availability will be limited. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Upon reopening on Saturday, 23 May 2026, the upgraded EV chargers will continue to operate on a first-come, first-served basis.

Thank you for your attention and cooperation as we work towards a more stable and sustainable charging environment.
